Do not drain fat.), 1 envelope kroger fajita mix 1/4 cup water, 1 tbsp vegetable oil, 8 flour tortillas, warmed 1 onion, thinly sliced 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced 1 tomato, cut into thin wedges (optional). 1. In large skillet, heat 1 tbsp. oil. Sautee 1 onion and green bell pepper until tender. Remove from skillet. 2. In same skillet, brown 1 lb ground beef (Chicken or steak fajitas: In step 2, add additional I tbsp. oil, brown 1 lb thinly sliced skinless. boneless chicken breast (until internal temperature of 165 degrees F) or sear I lb thinly sliced sirloin or flank steak (until internal temperature of 145 degrees F). Do not drain fat) until thoroughly cooked to an internal temperature of 160 degrees F; drain fat. 3. Add seasoning and 1/4 cup water: blend well. Bring to a boil: reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered. 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 4. Return vegetables to skillet to heat: add tomato. 5. Place 1/2 cup filling on each of 8 warmed flour tortillas: fold. Serve immediately. Refrigerate any leftovers.
